TIM’S QOTD

Since Tim somehow got himself banned this morning by the security system, I’m posting his question while the Man With No Name restores his posting ability.

“I woke up this morning with a thought that seemed like a pretty good idea:

What if Hillary DOES win the presidency? It seems to me like a pretty simple way to profit from such a tragedy is this: On November 9th, drop $1,000 on any reputable arms manufacturer, wait for your money to double, and sell.

Are all arms manufacturers privately held? Can you buy stock in them? If so, how?

What are the TBP’ers thoughts on this?”

THIS MIGHT BE THE DUMBEST F#$KING WOMAN ON THE PLANET

Hillary will appoint her Secretary of State

BEST OF SHEILA JACKSON LEE:

“Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not.”

“Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked, that are not enforced, that are straw purchased and they come into places even that have strong gun laws. Why? Because we don’t have sensible gun legislation.”

“I stand here as a freed slave because this Congress came together.”

“And I want to say to my colleagues that I stand here asking us to do what we did not do in Vietnam. Was to recognize the valiant and outstanding service of our men and women. And to understand that victory had been achieved. Today we have two Vietnams, side by side, North and South, exchanging and working. We may not agree with all North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace. I would look for better human rights record for North Vietnam, but they’re living side by side. Because that was a civil war.”

“All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party.”

WHY I VOTED FOR TRUMP

Guest Post by Kenny Lane at Knuckledraggin

The polls in Tennessee opened on the 19th for early voting which I think is just cooler than hell, allowing us to avoid a jam on the 8th.
Lisa and I took advantage of it and voted on Friday as long as we were in town anyways.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Darrell Castle of the Constitution Party is the best man for the job.

He believes in the Bill of Rights, written as intended and verified by our Founder’s writings. His views damned near mirror mine.

Yeah. So I voted for Trump. Yes, I did. For the first time in my life I voted Republican instead of American Independent or Libertarian.

Rigged

Any suggestion that US elections are rigged is deplorably and irredeemably beyond the pale.

Guest post by Robert Gore at Straight Line Logic

One truth the best and the brightest of our founding fathers knew in their bones: government would always be the preeminent threat to individual security, prosperity, liberty, and happiness. Strip away the irrelevant dross and history boiled down to one theme: the individual versus the state. Government, an institution gestated in fear of violence, inevitably uses the violent power that it has either wrested for itself or has been granted against its supposed beneficiaries.

Risk of ‘Mass Exodus’ of Doctors from Medicare

In what may be the most significant modification to Medicare since the program began in 1966, on Oct. 15, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the final rule for implementing the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). It dramatically changes how Medicare pays doctors for their services. Does it really matter how doctors get paid? Yes — the success or failure of the new payment system will profoundly influence the future of the U.S. health care system. And while the goals of MACRA are laudable, its implementation carries a number of unknowns and the potential for unintended consequences — for patients and doctors alike. One recent survey of physicians found nearly 40 percent expect a “mass exodus” from Medicare over MACRA. Before MACRA, Medicare used a fee-for-service payment system, reimbursing separately for each individual service provided, without regard to the quality of the care. The new system will reward doctors for providing high-quality, efficient care

QUOTES OF THE DAY

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is very apt to spread discontent among those who are.”

H.L. Mencken, A Mencken Chrestomathy

“The fall of Empire, gentlemen, is a massive thing, however, and not easily fought. It is dictated by a rising bureaucracy, a receding initiative, a freezing of caste, a damming of curiosity—a hundred other factors. It has been going on, as I have said, for centuries, and it is too majestic and massive a movement to stop.”

28 Things Donald Trump Promises to Do as President

Donald Trump is laying out delivered a long list of things he would do if elected president.

During an appearance in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, he vows to act on them in the first 100 days in office.

“On November Eighth, Americans will be voting for this 100-day plan to restore prosperity to our country, secure our communities, and honesty to our government,” Trump says. “This is my pledge to you and if we follow these steps we will once more have a government of, by and for the people and importantly we will make America great again. Believe me.”

Here is the list of the “Contract with the American Voter” policies detailed by Trump:

Universities Ban Politically Incorrect Halloween Costumes

In a latest measure to create a “safe space” for students, a number of universities have issued “costume protocol,” banning such un-PC Halloween costumes as Arab turbans, feathered Indian headdresses, Japanese Geisha outfits, and Caitlyn Jenner costumes.

Brock University in Ontario, Canada, for instance, has set up a website laying out its “Halloween Costume Vetting Protocol,” complete with a list of offending costumes and pictures of inappropriate wear.

In a twisted bit of illogic, the university stated, “In order to create an inclusive and diverse environment, some costumes may be denied.”Apparently, inclusive and diverse here means “if your costume is too diverse, you will not be included.”

“If a member of your party is denied entry because of their costume, they will be escorted to a space where they can change or remove the offending item,” according to the protocol. “They will not lose their place in line during this process, and can enter Isaac’s once the costume has been deemed appropriate by team of Isaac’s Bar and Grill Management and Student Justice Centre Staff.”

As one disturbed commenter wrote, “Obey the Thought Police. Welcome to 1984.”

MOST ACCURATE POLL IN 2012 SHOWS TRUMP UP BY 2.4%

The demographic data is fascinating and provides insight into how Civil War II will play out. Don’t expect to hear about this poll on any of the MSM propaganda channels. The LA Times poll also shows Trump ahead.

HOW CALIFORNIA WAS TRANSFORMED INTO KOMIEFORNIA

By: Shinmen Takezo
Bastard Son Of Lee Marvin
October 21, 2016

I remember the golden age of California—we called it ‘Reagan country’ back in the 80’s. All that was missing were conservative Jeddi Knights with light sabers roaming the fruited plain of the central valley slaying the wicked and meeting out justice. Ahhhhhh, baby—it was sweet!

It was called ‘Reagan Country’ for the following reasons… despite Regan being ‘down’ in all the leftist-manipulated polls across the nation, despite some present day familiar talking conservative zipper-heads (ie: George Will) running down Reagan (as is being presently done with Donald Trump), despite cart-loads of manure being heaped upon him, Ronald Reagan won two massive, crushing landslide elections in 1980 and in 1984… even winning the state of California in both elections.

No apologies for the run-on sentence above.

KICK THEM ALL OUT

I first stumbled upon this site in 2008 and followed the efforts closely.  There is a great collection of articles and literature linked here that SHOULD make anyone angry enough to vote against any incumbent in office, but like any well-constructed body of knowledge, it requires time, effort and the ability to think.  I’m hoping that TBPers will find it as interesting an idea as I do, even though the material here is old; it is still valid.  Maybe even more so now that we are in the final days of this critical election season.
