Societal Collapse? Dream until your dream come true.

This morning, you opened your phone and started scrolling. Your screen presented you with the usual updates: the nth wave of plague, the growing supply chain crisis, and two nuclear powers exchanging confrontational threats. You yawned and went to start your day. Collapse gets old fast. Chances are the threat of imminent destruction didn’t stop you from hurrying to work.

But to some, collapse can be a thrilling possibility. Keep scrolling, and you’ll eventually come across its devotees: they include backwood fundamentalists, deep green radicals, apocalyptic cults, and pessimistic online doomers, to name just a few.

The collapse of society can seem to hold an opportunity. Imagine no longer having to clock into work or pay taxes. Imagine money losing its importance when beans and bullets hold all the value. Imagine scheming lawyers and bankers getting their due when their wealth belongs to those strong enough to take it. Imagine a blank slate for those who see no place for themselves in our corrupt civilization.

Dirty politics are in play here in PA. With the primary election coming up next week, Richard Grenell and Greg Kelly have been trying to tear down MAGA candidate Kathy Barnette because she has a good chance of defeating Trump’s pick, Dr. Oz. They have been tweeting and texting videos of Barnette, cutting out full sentences and eliminating context to make it look like she is saying the total opposite of what she actually said. People in PA are receiving multiple anonymous texts with these videos and lies about Barnette.

What are they afraid of?

I’m Fed Up With The Fed’s BS

BS Alert - Miller on the MoneyThey claimed inflation was too low, shooting for an “average 2%”. Inflation raged and they called it “transitory”. Now they are pretending to deal with it, predicting a “soft landing.”

Peter Schiff asks, “If the Fed is fighting inflation, why is the balance sheet still expanding?”

World News reports Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan (part-owner of the Fed), told shareholders:

“He did not envy the Fed for the steps the US central bank would need to take to end its ultra-loose policies….

If the Fed gets it just right, we can have years of growth, and inflation will eventually start to recede. In any event, this process will cause lots of consternation and very volatile markets.”

MarketWatch tells us Fed Gov. Waller says inflation may have peaked in March:

“Genetically Edited” Food – The next stage of the Great Reset?

The Queen’s Speech was interesting this year.

For all the people outside the UK who don’t understand what the “Queens Speech” actually is, it’s a farcical state occasion in which the Queen (or, in this case, Prince Charles since her majesty is ill/secretly dead/having “mobility issues”) makes a speech about what “her government” intends to do for the next 12 months.

Of course, the Queen doesn’t actually write the speech, or have any input on its content, or have any control at all over what “her” government intends to do. She’s just a mouthpiece in a big gold hat.

It’s the UK equivalent of the State of the Union, only done in Halloween costumes made out of shiny stolen rocks.

The whole thing is nothing but a grand, gilt statement of intent from the British Deep State, wrapped in mink and draped in medals they never earned. It’s a joke, but it is worth listening to.

Or, if you have a sensitive stomach, you can just read the full text the next day on the UK government’s website (that’s what I do).

A lot of the content is entirely predictable.

We have entered the baby formula rationing stage of Biden’s presidency.  Datasembly reported that formula shortages reached 8% during the first half of 2021. From November 2021 to the beginning of April 2022, baby formula shortages reached 31% which was cause for concern to everyone but the FDA and the White House. As April continued, the out-of-stock rate spiked to 40%! During the last week of April, at least seven states reported a 50% or greater shortage in supply.

It’s an absolute delight to watch the Democrats go all-in on Hispanic voters and then, in the way one might expect from pasty ruling caste goofs, unwittingly do everything in their power to make Hispanic voters despise them. And the results are undeniable – Latinx voters not only hate being called “Latinx” but hate pretty much everything else that the Dems are doing. The faculty lounge set that sets the party’s agenda is utterly oblivious. They don’t know any Hispanics – except maybe ones they hire to work around the mansion – and the Dems have certainly never thought to ask Hispanic Americans what they want. Instead, the condescending commies told their Hispanic constituents what the left wanted Hispanics to want.

Spending that created inflation.

Soft on crime.

Open borders – nope, Hispanic Americans are having none of that.
