It’s Damned Hard to Be Proud of America

Americans probably still have many good reasons to be proud of America, but as I sat thinking about what I would write to commemorate our Independence Day, they all seemed to evade me at the moment, given where we find our country today. And even tho’ we have seen some recent gains moving the country away from the Marxist-Maoist Democrat Party’s communist agenda and the plan to fundamentally transform America into something despicable, foreign and conquered, it will be for naught so long as the American people keep embracing corrupt politicians and act as tho’ the Bill of Rights are unimportant footnotes in Mad Magazine, written by President Alfred E. Newman, trudging into the years ahead unprincipled and immoral as ever.

EVEN BANANA BOATS CAN TEACH US LESSONS

by Ray Jason

When I weary of researching and discussing too many heavy topics with my readers, I retreat, with my good ship AVENTURA, to a nearby beach where I can find distraction and sometimes solace. On rare occasions, I can even find inspiration.

This lovely spot has a split personality. At ten a.m. the boats from town arrive and unload their enthusiastic tourists who are delighted by the prospect of a carefree day of languishing in the luscious and soothing Caribbean water. By five p.m. they have all been shuttled back to town, and I have the beach and the bay to myself.

The first thing to arrive each day is the panga towing the bright yellow, Banana Boat. It is also the last “vessel” to leave. This week it suddenly occurred to me that these inflatable container ships, with their cargo of laughter and thrills, have actually taught me some Life Lessons.

Only Michelle Obama can beat Donald Trump

Via RT

Michelle Obama, the wife of former US President Barack Obama, is the only potential Democratic candidate who could beat Republican frontrunner Donald Trump in November’s election, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

There is growing concern among Democratic voters over President Joe Biden’s ability to secure a second term in office this year, particularly after his debate with Trump, in which the 81-year-old incumbent appeared frail and confused, and struggled to finish his sentences.

What Would The Founders Say About Our Multi-Trillion Dollar Debt?

From Peter Reagan at Birch Gold Group

“No pecuniary consideration is more urgent, than the regular redemption and discharge of the public debt: on none can delay be more injurious, or an economy of time more valuable.”

George Washington, 1793

The total national debt was a little less than $5 trillion at the beginning of Bill Clinton’s first term as President (January 1993).

That was exactly 200 years after Washington issued his warning about public debt, quoted above. Unfortunately, his warning was ignored.

Since 1993, through entire presidencies on both sides of the aisle, the debt has grown nonstop almost seven times over (600%). The most current official figure is $34.6 trillion as of the end of the first quarter of 2024.

Russell Brand Slams Media for Normalizing Heart Attacks in Young, Healthy People

Guest Post by

Comedian and political commentator Russell Brand accused the mainstream media of making a concerted effort to normalize the recent surge in cardiac injuries, including heart attacks, in previously healthy people — while ignoring any possible connection to COVID-19 vaccines.

“On legacy media, it’s quite possible to watch a kind of bright breezy, cheerful news item about heart attacks as if it’s like some new trend, as if it’s Pogs or Pokemon Go or something,” Brand said Tuesday on an episode of his “Stay Free” podcast. “It’s a new sensation, heart disease in young people.”

Brand cited a May 30 segment on NBC’s “Today” show — “A new way of thinking about heart attacks” — which reported, “Doctors say they’re seeing an alarming number of seemingly healthy patients having heart attacks and those patients are getting younger and younger.”

From the depths of hell they come for vengeance*

Guest Post by Alex Berenson

(*An old computer game reference, apologies.) But after Joe Biden’s debate debacle, the reporters who’ve licked his boots for four years are suddenly in truth-telling mode. Here’s why.

Even if you don’t like Joe Biden, the headlines and articles are almost painful.

In the aftermath of last week’s Presidential debate, the elite media has gone from carrying water for Biden to turning the firehose on him.

The New York Times: Biden’s Lapses Are Said to Be Increasingly Common and Worrisome

Politico: ‘We’ve all enabled the situation’: Dems turn on Biden’s inner sanctum post debate

Reuters: Joe Biden’s disastrous debate blamed on bad preparation, exhaustion

What is so striking about these articles is that only days ago – not months, but days – the same outlets insisted questions about Biden’s cognitive fitness were not merely unfair but “misinformation.” (A word and concept that must be retired immediately. Facts that one side or the other do not like are not “misinformation.”)

The Reason Biden Was Permitted to Debate Trump

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Biden Secon TermThe first presidential debate of the year was a humiliating moment for our nation. Does one even need to bother discussing the questions mentioned when the public was in utter shock at the current president’s physical and mental state?

Did Zelensky’s Wife Purchase Limited Edition Bugatti?

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

zelenska_buys_bugatti_turbillon_autojosh_6The nations toppling their budgets to provide blank checks to Ukraine should know where their money is being spent. We all know that a large portion of the money is circulated back into the military-industrial complex. Yet, the “greatest salesman in history” has certainly received his cut. Latest reports claim that First Lady Olena Zelenska purchased a $4.48 million Bugatti.

The Presidential Dilemma

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The dilemma is not limited to Trump and Biden. All of us face it.

Biden cannot win despite all of the theft mechanisms the Democrats have institutionalized. A stolen election requires a close election in order to hide the theft. But the polls show no such close election.

In order to use the fraudulent electoral means put in place, the Democrats need a candidate that the media can present as neck-in-neck with Trump. Even if Democrats had such a candidate, the Biden Crime Family cannot risk Trump taking office. In the event that Trump has learned not to appoint his most dangerous enemies to the highest offices, Biden out of power faces the risk of a real investigation of his and his son’s suspect business affairs, which appear to boil down to influence peddling.

Bidenomics: Man Sparks Internet Outrage After Paying $9.35 For A Diet Coke At Six Flags

Via ZeroHedge

Just when you’ve thought you’ve seen the worst, most egregious examples of inflation rearing its head, we give you: Six Flags.

Guyset (@theguyset) posted a viral video on TikTok expressing shock over paying $9.35 for a Diet Coke at Six Flags, showing his receipt as proof. Despite the high price, he bought it. He noted in the caption that both he and the cashier were stunned by the cost.

Green New Scam Is Dying

Guest Post by Jim Rickards

It’s no secret that the vast majority of the so-called elites are advocates of climate alarmism and are taken in by the Green New Scam.

Whether this preference is based on ignorance of the science, ideological zeal, a willful desire to hurt American growth or simple greed because of their investments in Green New Scam infrastructure varies case by case.

The typical upper-income supporter of the climate cult including academics, media figures and celebrities is probably ignorant of the fact that there is no evidence that CO2 emissions cause climate change and that the real causes are solar cycles, volcanoes, ocean currents and atmospheric moisture not caused by humans.

Americans Are More Likely To Go To War With The Government Than Submit To The Draft

Authored by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.us,

In a national poll last month Americans were asked if they believed a new civil war was likely to happen within their lifetime. The establishment media was shocked to report that 47% of the population said yes. Those of us in the liberty media were not so surprised; I believe according to the evidence that we were already a short step away from civil war in 2021-2022.

There were A LOT of guys (millions) getting ready for the possibility of vaccine passport enforcement. Gun ownership in the US hit record highs during that time period and conservative/patriot groups saw a spike in public interest. As it turned out, the “conspiracy theorists” were right all along, there really was an organized agenda to eliminate constitutional protections…

White House Installs Touch And Learn Activity Desk In Oval Office So Biden Can Feel Like He’s Working While Jill Is Running The Country

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In order to let President Biden feel like he is still working, the White House has installed a “Touch-And-Learn” activity desk for Biden to play at while First Lady Jill Biden runs the country.

“He just loves feeling like he’s still a part of things,” said Chief of Staff Ron Klain, watching the President spin a wheel. “Ope! Ring-ring, Mr. President! I think someone’s calling on your little yellow phone!”

How Money Dies, In 3 Charts (Plus One More on What’s Coming Next)

Guest Post by Bryan Lutz

“Nearly every major government is doing exactly what past printing press owners have done, but – thanks to modern technology and globalization – they’re doing it on a scale that have never been attempted before. So this time around, the entire global financial system find itself drifting inexorably toward the chaos that has claimed all previous fiat currencies.”

~ John Rubino, The Money Bubble

Nowadays, most mainstream economists believe that consistent increases in the money supply not only benefit the economy, but can pull the nation out of a recession.

And that makes a growing money supply good.

For them, it shows that an economy is growing, but in fact that may only be the case for a short period of time.

Moreover, it is also the way money becomes worthless.
