When you have a war, there are usually two sides who see themselves facing an existential threat. They face each other on the field of battle, call on their fellow countrymen to sacrifice their lives or to send their sons off to fight and possibly die for their nation or cause.
All that being said, in what world does the government of one side continue to do business with the other in the midst of hostilities, providing them with the energy they need to manufacture the weaponry with which they kill your own people?
It’s illogical, it’s irrational, and it makes no sense whatsoever if the conflict is real.
Nothing- and I mean it when I say it- nothing in the current political world as promoted by The Narratives of our age reflect any kind of truth.
Unfortunately, we are left to figure out this convoluted story with nothing more than intuition and the few facts that we are able to discern on our own.

It is somewhat surprising (but also not surprising given energy scarcity fears) that after two-and-a-half years of war, hundreds of thousands of lives tragically lost, and brutal grinding warfare which has also killed many civilians on both sides… that the oldest and biggest economic link between Russia and Europe is still in place: the transit of Russian gas through Ukrainian territory.
