I still think Cosby was framed. He came out telling the Black community to clean up their act, study hard, finish school, keep a job, don’t have kids unless you are married. Suddenly, women show up saying that decades earlier he drugged them to have sex — back when he was a famous actor, comedian, wealthy, and respected. None of that makes sense, but he was convicted on “believe all women”. He was framed because he told Blacks that they were keeping themselves on the plantation.
I suspect the TRUTH is somewhere in between. He likely took some liberties as any guy with lots of women fawning all over him would tend to do…and then after he told blacks to take some personal responsibility (coincidentally the same thing Malcolm X talked about regularly just before he was assassinated) those who need dependent sheep got rid of him in a manner that kept him alive, but destroyed his reputation. His real victim count is probably 1 or 2 (so not truly innocent), but they made it into dozens for full effect. The completely innocent are very hard to frame/intimidate.
I remember reading testimony from his “first victim” where she testified waking up after their first date, (with a man she knew was married) and realized she had been drugged and “raped”, and then going on a second date with him. I thought that would be the end of his trial, but it wasnt.
