No kidding. Does anyone think it was a coincidence that the US rapidly pulled out of Afghanistan after twenty years of being there, right before Russia invaded Ukraine. US was getting ready to shift funds and military resources to the Ukraine. Just a question of when, not if troops are sent in. US military advisors are already there. It amazes me that the American citizens put up with this nonsense. People are starting to wake up young people are no longer joining the military to fight in US forever wars.
Yes, recruitment levels and standards have plummeted. I wasn’t a high speed hero in the army but damn the new crops of privates are unbelievable. They have their phones and social media all throughout basic training. They are overweight and overly emotional. Those are the grunts too.
