Having had experience with two family members in their mid 80’s with dementia caring for them was a slippery slope to where they could not be left alone EVER !
I did the hard but right thing one required a full time elder care for two years till he died the other was manageable in my home with other family members pulling shift work he had a massive stroke late one night and died the next day
Both recurved the quality of care keeping them well and safe as age and nature took its course !
Lets hope Trump will recognize the issue during the debate and shows some compassion. An old man in his frail years physically and mentally is not to be made a spectacle of but to be pitied . Regardless of his past behaviors , it’s to late for any punitive action
