the good thing about rumors like this is that even if many in the davos crowd dream of such destructive methods, on the one hand, enough of even the ruling class understands that if such a thing really existed, that they themselves would also get bit in the ass by it, but on the other hand, anyone who understands even a little about basic high school level science, physics, chemistry etc, understands that something liek this simply would not work. From a perspective of trying to make something like this work, its best chance would be … to just engineer a virus, which is the real life example that mostly sorta works.. but it would just like any other virus be subject to a shitload of rapid mutation (delicate molecules exposed to the elements even in the best of cases is enough to trash oh like 99.9999999% of them or so and leave the rest damaged) and it would pretty quickly fizzle out.
