I approve of the intent, but I would love to know what, if anything, legally happened to the driver. There are about five things he could be nailed for, including assault with a deadly weapon. The driver almost hit that poor girl ! It’s not safe on the streets for women any more and it’s all because of men.

Brazil is also the place where the police perform desperately needed extra-judicial killings for young thugs in who venture outside of favelas to prey on normal people.
The police recognize that these youths have no past, no future, and on possibility of ever becoming productive citizens, so they will often “remove the problem.”
It is brutal, and has no relation to our ideas of justice, but when you look at what happens in the NYC subways, and you hear about people who have felony gun and assault charges, as well as arrest records over 100 counts, etc. what should be done? That crap goes on here in the US and that also has no relation to our ideas of justice.

There was a case I witnessed in Guaianazees, São Paulo. It is a very violent neighborhood and the smaller criminals saw ashes in the hands of the police and in the first comand of capital that, in some places, decree they should not steal, but some idiots prefer to risk. Well, one night, a 17 -year -old mouse tried to steal a motorcycle and, by his misfortune, was a policeman coming back from work. He took so much punch that when the police arrived they decided to leave so as not to disturb the massage of neighboring residents. He died of a lot of punch and no one cried for him.
