The US Air Force received their request by Congress to spend $5.8 billion on construction up to 2,000 unmanned aircrafts. These AI drones can operate autonomously without human interference. This means that the decision to decimate masses will not be up to human judgement. The Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program has been approved and the US government is actively preparing to fight in a large scale war.
The Kratos XQ-58A Valkyrie cost up to $7 million per unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV). They have a range of 3,500 miles (5,600 kilometers) with a cruise speed of 548 mph (882 km/h). Kratos Defense and Security Systems owns the UCAV, and the two largest shareholders, of course, are BlackRock and Vanguard.
This will change the entire nature of war, shrouded in a grey area regarding ethics. Militaries can try to omit responsibility if they say a UCAV was operating on its own free will. Perhaps the aircraft will choose to liberate more poor nations in need of Democracy, especially if they have natural resources like oil. “AI will be a critical element to future warfighting and the speed at which we’re going to have to understand the operational picture and make decisions,” Brig. Gen. Scott Cain, the lab’s commander, said. “AI, Autonomous Operations, and Human-Machine Teaming continue to evolve at an unprecedented pace and we need the coordinated efforts of our government, academia, and industry partners to keep pace.”
This is a solution to the military personnel shortage every branch besides the Marines face. However, the destruction these AI machines will cause is untold. Kratos admits the XQ-58A Valkyrie is experimental. “The operational options that our family of UAVs brings to the warfighter are limited only by the imagination and provide CONOPS/CONEMPS options unavailable by any other competitor in the market,” Kratos notes on its website. The country with the most effective technology will win future wars. All bets are off as they do not know how these unmanned aircrafts will operate amid an ongoing battle, but the US is willing to bet $5.8 billion on their success.

The Infantry Is Dead (For Now)
Hate to say it, but in the current day iteration, the Infantry as it is is no longer a viable battlefield element the way it used to be…
It’s going to have to go more technical/mechanical if you will, as right now? The current day protective gear just isn’t enough to keep up with the advancements of the ISR.
We’ve all been watching the videos. In fact, I got a sinking feeling during the Armenia–Azerbaijan border crisis back in 202/21. That was one of the first time we saw, in real time, drones having a direct net effect against scores of Infantry in the open so to speak. When I saw my first video in shitty 480p of a platoon of Armenian Infantry walking down what was supposed to be a ‘safe road’ and getting first spotted by the drone, then lased by the drone, and then getting utterly obliterated by the Artillery that was called in by the drone.
Now, even in the short jump in tech, we’ve seen drones completely come to dominate the ISR (intelligence/surveillance/reconnaissance) field of battle… hell, not only are the drones performing recon/seeking and peeking but also as offensive weapons?…
There’s one cool-but-fucked-up video of a Tank, not sure on who’s side (T-64 so maybe Krainian) with it’s turret main hatch (TC Hatch specifically) open, and the drone drops what appears to be a 50mm Mortar round with “nothin’ but net” through the open turret, whereupon it detonated inside and kil’t the crew… NO one got out of that BTW… the tank, because of the way the autoloader works, the tank ‘brewed up’ like a motherfucker about 20 seconds after the hit and the flames almost took out the drone.

Russia’s Kornet Missile Has Now Cracked All Major Western Bloc Tanks: Challenger 2 Kill Follows Abrams, Leopard 2 and Merkava IV
Following confirmation on September 5 that Russian forces had destroyed a British Challenger 2 tank in Ukraine, Russian sources have widely reported that the Kornet anti tank missile was responsible for the kill. The release of a video of the strike captured by a drone showed the tank being hit by a guided projectile, with the speed of the projectile undermining prior British claims that a Russian Lancet drone had been responsible. The video also effectively debunked claims that a direct hit by Russian artillery had destroyed the tank. Claims that the Kornet was used are consistent with the footage and the speed and trajectory of the projectile. This marks a major victory for the system, which is deployed primarily as a handheld platform but also at times mounted on light vehicles. The Kornet is a light 28kg handheld missile system which has been in service since 1998, and has gained kills against more modern tank classes than any other system of its kind.
