It’s been maybe 25 years, but I once ran down some interesting info on “Indiana Ditchweed”. I was looking at official numbers on how much marijuana was destroyed because of Federal programs and it was some huge number like 50,000 tons or something. Strangely, the great majority of it (like 90%) was destroyed in Indiana. Turns out there was a prolific wild marijuana there with almost zero THC, but technically it was marijuana, so the state of Indiana sent trucks around cutting and burning the stuff, and was being paid a handsome Federal reward for all they destroyed.

Ha, I fucked them and the other one. The first time, I was me. The next time, I made up a name. The third time, I worked in a large corporate mailroom and used another employee’s name who worked upstairs. I grabbed it all before it could get delivered, including the non-payment notices.
I made the mistake of joining the tape club thingy back in the 70’s. Even after I’d fulfilled my obligation to buy the required number of tapes and told them I was quitting their little club, they kept sending notices saying I was still a member.
I wrote several polite letters to let them know I was no longer interested but they ignored them. In my final letter, the one that worked, I threw in a bunch of legaleeze sounding words I didn’t even know the meaning of and let them know how distressing this all was for me. In the last line I told them that if they didn’t cancel my membership then I would have no choice but to dis-member my self and I was just crazy enough to do it.
I never heard from them again.
