As long as my windows don’t get broken and me, my hubs, and my dogs don’t get shot, I hardly pay any attention. I’m in rural Idaho, next to a National Forest. Daily thing. Hourly during hunting season. Freaks the CA transplants out though, which I find funny as hell. They’re always bitching on our NextDoor website. Which is why I let my friends from the city hunt turkeys on our property.
People here think they are gunshots. No They fire off fireworks for any occasion! And I moved to SC to be free, the Libs never understand the traditions of the South. I figured it out fast. They like loud things, Guns, Harleys, big ass trucks, and Fireworks. Enough, Karens of the HOA.

Nearly had the same thing happen to me once. A truck in front of me on the highway was overloaded with old tires and one bounced off and came bouncing down the road directly at me. When I was 12 my folks put me on a Greyhound in LA to visit my grandparents in Oregon two weeks before they left on vacation.
