On December 9, The Examiner prints Alfred Lord Tennyson’s poem “The Charge of the Light Brigade,” which commemorates the courage of 600 British soldiers charging a heavily defended position during the Battle of Balaklava, in the Crimea, just six weeks earlier. Tennyson had been named poet laureate in 1850 by Queen Victoria.

American Democracy Is A Fiction
As my article this morning on this 79th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor illustrates ( https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2020/12/07/pearl-harbor-an-orchestrated-event/ ), governments use deception to bring people in agreement with the agendas of those who control government. The cost of such deceptions usually exceed the benefits. Ruinous wars result, and the unity required to cement a country together can be destroyed.
I believe the latter has happened with the stolen US presidential election. It is certain that the election was stolen, and 75% of Republicans and 30% of Democrats believe that it was according to the Rasmussen Poll. The organized theft was planned well in advance, and the hysteria orchestrated by the Covid threat paved the way for fraudulent mail-in ballots. As I previously explained, state election laws in swing states were violated by Democrat election officials, governors, and secretaries of state. Even state constitutions were violated. The voting machines were programmed to weight the vote in Biden’s favor. When this did not suffice, halts in vote counting were declared in several swing states, all poll watchers were sent home, and fradulent main-in ballots were fed into the vote count in the absence of supervision.

Senator Rand Paul spoke out Monday against the policy of lockdowns and restrictions, declaring that there is no evidence they are having any impact on the spread of coronavirus, and that those who say they do are not paying attention.
“We ought to at least still use logic to try to figure out how we stop this …,” Paul said in an appearance on Fox News, adding “I don’t see any evidence that crowd control, hand washing, standing six feet apart, all of these things they tell you to do — closing down the restaurants, closing down the schools — there’s no real evidence that they are changing the trajectory of the disease.”

Klaus Schwab was born in Nazi Germany in 1938. Little information is available as to his upbringing – i.e., the degree to which he was educated to believe in Nazi doctrine – but whatever he was taught in his youth, he is, today, one of the most ardent believers in, and proponents of, totalitarian rule.
The term “Nazi” refers to Nationalsozialistisch, or “National Socialism,” and its overall concept was fascism – a concept that encompassed a corporatist economic system, socialist political system and totalitarian rule.
Whilst this description may seem rather convoluted, the concept was believed by Wall Street and much of the US government in the 1930s as the way of the future. So much so that they provided considerable financial and logistical support for Nazi Germany during the 1930s and even into the 1940s.

Now that I am deep into my “middle years,” I feel that the lessons that I share with my unknown readers are genuinely time-tested. Here are two that I believe are universal and eternal:
Fear enslaves us. Courage liberates us.
These are not just abstract sentiments for me. I have lived them. As recently as three years ago, I successfully crewed on a sailboat expedition across the dangerous Northwest Passage. This was achieved on a small, fiberglass boat. It involved months in the frigid waters above the Arctic Circle, where one misstep could lead to death.

Zachary Plantz was a senior policy adviser for the 3rd District Democrat. The 27-year-old Notre Dame grad was in Naples for a marathon to raise money for charity.

The nation is being overtaken by an alien threat that invades bodies, alters minds, and transforms freedom-loving people into a mindless, compliant, conforming mob intolerant of anyone who dares to be different, let alone think for themselves.
However, while Body Snatchers—the chilling 1956 film directed by Don Siegel—blames its woes on seed pods from outerspace, the seismic societal shift taking place in America owes less to biological warfare reliant on the COVID-19 virus than it does to psychological warfare disguised as a pandemic threat.
