I’m so glad the weekly safety training classes have been replaced with something more worthwhile.
An all-Navy message sent out Tuesday says that all sailors will be required to undergo transgender behavioral education by July 2017.
Starting Nov. 1, the training will educate sailors about the Navy’s new transgender policy that allows transgenders to serve in the military, Military.com reported.
“This training will emphasize policies and expectations of personal behavior,” the message states.
It is unclear what exactly is in these training sessions yet, but the Navy will soon send out messages with more information.
In the meantime, leadership is putting together a commander’s tool kit that will guide training, said Lt. Jessica Anderson, a spokeswoman for Naval Personnel Command, to Military.com.
“Service members are expected to maintain standards of conduct and treat each other with dignity and respect,” Anderson said. “Training for sailors will be conducted by command triads via mobile training teams or DVD with a facilitation guide if the unit is in a remote area and unable to receive face-to-face training. There will also be webinars for COs to ask questions prior to delivering training to their commands.”
The training deadline is set to coincide with the date that the Navy will start accepting transgender recruits, July 1, 2017.

Since I am former military and have some understanding of the VA disability system, I know that there is a special disability compensation for the loss of creative organs… for example, up to 50% disabled if a woman underwent a hysterectomy (even voluntary!) while in the service. So, I’m wondering how the disability system will apply to these transgendered people getting out of the service and claiming they have been disabled by service-connected operation?

That gets my mind to thinking. It hurts but I try. Could queer men claim disability because they were born without a uterus? Conversely. How about lesbians claiming disability for being born without a penis? Yikes. this has limitless potential.
It really, really does open up a whole new area for disability pensions. What about people who wanted to get the operation while in the service, but were unable due to regulations. Couldn’t they have PTSD as a result of being forced to serve as a gender they didn’t want?
If you think the VA system is overloaded now, just wait.
When I got out of the service, I volunteered at the VA for a while in an office which reviewed claims. It is where I learned about some of the crazier rationales offered by people about their “disabilities.” And you know what? A LOT of them get through.

They are insane. And by they, I mean both the military leadership and the transgendered as well.
Every, and I mean EVERY, transgendered person that I have taken care of are seriously mentally disturbed and have no business being in the military. In my experience over 50% had HIV, although one study I read, the HIV prevalence was about 27 or 28% overall.
I bet the Russians and Chinese are laughing their asses off about it. What a great way to destroy the military from the inside.

I recently spent a bit of time with a transgendered person. Two points I got from the conversation.
1) It was extremely painful and the pain lasted for about 2 years. and
2) The reason she did it was she wanted to be “a beautiful woman”.
I will admit she is a stunningly beautiful woman but what will she look like in 15 years?
Insane? You be the judge. She had an extremely painful operation just because she wanted to be a beautiful woman. She was a seamstress but her new job pays much better. A Cambodian hooker who hopes to find Mr Right to take care of her for the rest of her life. (Sorry honey, This ATM is closed. I stopped thinking with my dick a few years ago.)
The funniest thing she said was “you would be surprised how many straight men like me because I can use both holes.”

Well, at least we won’t have to call them “seamen” anymore. New term will be “cumquats”.
