Ding! Ding! Ding! Give me a cigar!

“Photo and caption by Glen Hush

I had been in Teton National Park for 5 days and hadn’t yet seen the tops of the Teton Range due to non stop storm systems moving through. October can be like that in this majestic part of America. Large herds of bison roam free in this park as well as in Yellowstone, just to the north. It is an awe inspiring sight indeed. After taking pictures of this herd, I felt that I had been “shut out” as the mountain peaks had still not been revealed to me. It wasn’t until I looked at the pictures on my computer that I realized that in a few frames, the peaks had been revealed. What a great surprise.”

Location: Teton National Park, Wyoming

I visited a friend who has an incredibly beautiful spot in these hills on his own personal 5 acre lake yesterday. We chatted for a while, me bartering for a bushel of his Roma tomatoes and hoping for some corn, but the corn is all gone and the tomatoes will cost me 6 quarts of pasta sauce. He is also going to “purchase” some ammo from me with a few other items. I think it is a fair deal.

Neither of us believe that the election is going to change things for the country. However, we do suspect that if elected, Hillary will try to stop me from bartering for anything, anywhere. I think that there really could be an attempt to round us all up like the former Soviet Union tried to do with their rural populace.

Anyway, beautiful photo and inspiring message in the image. Nice to know the buffalo are still thriving, somewhere.

My friend was contacted by someone wanting to sell their 90 acre piece of hill ground with 5 ponds and 2 creeks on it. He says he doesn’t want ie need it, but thinks it might be a better place to store his retirement dollars than Edward Jones. I told him someone would pay good money… REAL money… for that land one day soon.

Been camping up in those mountains–at Jenny Lake. One beautiful place. Watch out for the grizzlies!
