Even though I have been unemployed for 11 months, and own and carry guns, I have yet to feel this way. Of course my wife working for good pay, and us having no bills to speak of, has been a huge help in this regard. If her job (medical field) was to get axed, then TSHTF.

Anyways, as some here know, I have been having a bit of a battle with the folks at Tinker AFB over my hearing. I was offered a job on Sept. 6, supposed to start Sept 28. But that got shanghaied due to my bad hearing. WELL, I finally got a hold of someone on base who was able to help me cut through all the red-tape regarding this issue, and I now start Nov.16.

Just in the nick of time to, as I have just started receiving money from the second extension, which would have lasted until Feb. 2010. Sure glad I will not have to test out the third extension just passed.

Oh yeah, to celebrate I went out and bought a brand new hearing aid, paid $1300 cash. My old hearing aid quit on me in March, no one would fix it since it was an "antique". And I was not willing to spend the money until I had a job that would replace the money spent. My wife and I have no credit cards, and NEVER WILL! Cash or walk! Boy is this new hearing aid an advance over the old one! I can hear instruments and tones in music I forgot existed. 8>)

 Because Barack Obama was able to marginalize Hillary Clinton, he not only grabbed the younger, more idealistic, america sucks group, these were also the same people with less debt because they have had credit for less time, so they are not feeling the pressure that homeowners who lost equity in their homes and 401k's are feeling.

On top of that, the Barack Obama group sees the much much lower stock share prices and thinks america is good because they are buying in now, when stocks are lower.  They risk less, and may even have seen significant gains since Barack Obama took office.

The older crowd is generally not the kind to take to the streets.  The conservative are such sore losers they could not stand the thought of Bill Clinton riding a wave of increasing popularity through the end of his second term that they chose to witch hunt him, not based on his actual presidential service, but because he accepted a consensual advance from a young woman. 

Half of the original 12 republican congressman that led the witch hunt WERE HAVING THEIR OWN AFFAIRS. Two had to resign the group just as it was starting its witchhunt, Gingrich never even bothered to join because he was having an affair with his own office help at the time.  Dole and McCain could not join in because they too had their own pasts to deal with.

The Republican witch hunters had to literally avoid all of the established party leaders BECAUSE THEY HAD ALL HAD HAD AFFAIRS.  However, they were able to stain both Clintons enough to give Barack Obama an opening in 2008, that and a bunch of illegal contributions, cheating in caucus contests, and a corrupt media that just did not want to vet Barack Obama nor his past.

So the plan IS WORKING.  Barack Obama is protecting those most likely to vote for him in 2012, and those who may actually have some money to donate to his campaign.  And those republican swing voters who helped kicked Hillary Clinton with their crossover voting during the primaries, good on you.  The republicans still sore about Bill Clinton winning after a 12 year republican run may have helped Barack Obama win, and that is what I find scary.

Idle people leads to bad things. Especially if they feel the system or the "man" is out to get them.

This has been going on for almost a year now. How many men are killing their families, then killing themselves. I see stories in local newspapers about one per week now.

The real reason is that people are for the first time seeing the corrupt world for the first time and see that all they believed in was a lie. That having a job meant life had meaning, so called achievement, people who are wealthy actually earned it fairly, and that as a man, my value is my job and money and status. That all society tells us as men what life is about is a complete lie and only designed to exploit us further.

When one wakes up from a lie by force(in unemployment), then they do not take that shock well. Think of NEO in the Matrix where he puked and wanted out after seeing for himself what the matrix was for the first time.

Neo wanted to learn the truth. 99% of Americans are fed plausable denial so they can lie to themselves and be wage slaves of the system and for someone who fears the truth more than anything else, then forced to see it before he is ready, he will collapse. This is what we are seeing in the violence.

As a society, the entire "civilized" world believes violence and bullying and manipulation is the answer to all conflict so why are we surprised when people choose violence in their internal conflict?

It is not about false lables such as "capitalism", "socialism", "fascism", or any other label that divides and specializes and seperates and keeps people from seeing the larger and real picture of the world as in the employment world. These are all tools of oppression along with religion and dogmatic science and all the bullsh*t of the modern world. They are all meaningless as the only constant in the science world is that our understanding of the world constantly changes, while those in academia and "experts" keep people from progressing with the change.

*Every* thing in science and our understanding of the world changes and pretty much *everything* we thought were ultimate truths 200 years ago is not believed to be false. *everything* we believe to be true today from "free market capitalism" to big bank theory to nutrition will be proven false too.

The one truth that seems to keep repeating and never changing is human arrogance and the false belief in our illusion of power. The illusion of power and the desperate attempts to gain more of this illusion is the ultimate stupidity of man and has been with us since the inception of "civilization" or in real terms, the start of the mass enslaving and exploitation of men and the world.

Economics is just a game and a stupid and exploitative game at that. Wealth is meaningless and so is economics. economic is not a science - it is BS made up by a bunch of little men and is a pointless and useless game where so called the best exploiters are called winners or wealthy or powerful.

Again, the only men who desire power and wealth are the little men with no self esteem or courage and are only trying desperately to cover up their own sense of desperation and inferiority. So much destruction by these little men and entire societies respect and envy these little men.

So much envy in our society on the other little men called professional sports stars. What a pointless exercise. All professional sports are meanlingless, governed by an arbitrary set of rules, which are selectively enforced and have always been corrupt to the core. How pointless to believe there is anything worthwhile or good in a stupid game and to actually envy and admire these little men who do nothing of value as some kind of a role model.

There is no hope for a society that believes in admiring these little men of society. It will always be a corrupt place full of exploitation and pain as people admire those who rise to the top of meanlingless games of corruption and violence.

This may well a sign of the times guys..but dont think for a moment that the media will not exploit this opportunity to push heavier gun controls on to the people.. the people that may just overthrow the bullshit system running this place..

But the people who lived through the 1930s had MUCH worse and sooner than we have now.  No mass shootings, and there were no gun laws then.

It is the character of this Time, and the flavor of this Turning much more biting, and bitter, than the last.

The purpose of the thread at that time was to chronicle all the Suicides and Murder-Suicides occurring as the Collapse builds in momentum.  A fair number got chronicled in that thread, but of course they are occurring with ever greter frequency all the time, in fact we had a Twofer day here with the Army Major AND the Florida Shooter.  While the Army Major thread here on TBP has degenerated into a Muslim Bashing thread, this thread hasn't yet been overrun by the board Trolls, so I thought we might try to discuss the real causes of this type of behavior.

It was fairly obvious even a year ago that Suicides and Postal Events were on the rise already, so anybody at all surprised by any of these events NOW is well behind the curve here.  Its a function of economic and social breakdown, and its hitting ALL sectors of the society, including of course the Military and the Police along with Banksters and plenty of J6Ps also.

Many people have already fallen completely "off the cliff", lost their jobs and their houses and they have Lost Hope, not just for themselves but their families and their society also.  Depression sets in (the psychological kind which is quite related to the economic kind), and rational thinking goes out the window.  Sure you can diagnose them as Mentally Ill, but there is a REASON they are now mentally ill.  The reason is the society they lived in is falling apart. They were perfectly normal people before they lost everything.  Now their brains are turning to Scrambled Eggs because they have run out of alternatives.

Its particularly hard for the people who were once middle or upper class, which is why you see the Falling Stockbroker syndrome.  Those who were outrageously rich who now find themselves BK are among the most likely to to splatter their brains all over the drivers side window of the Jaguar.  Military personnel who find themselves repeatedly thrown BACK into the War Zone also find creative uses for the automatic weapons they are issued.  I can GUARANTEE you, every Religion will be well represented with people Going Postal as this collapse proceeds, so to identify it as being the sole province of the Muslims is mistaking Cause and Effect.  The Muslims simply got a head start on this, because they fell into the collapse phase first.  Similarly, the Ruskies face decreasing population numbers because their society collapsed before ours did, and this occurred as a result of economic warfare, which is the subject for another post and beyond the scope of this thread.

You can call it "Terrorism" if you like when some home grown Timothy McVeigh type next blows up some building, but was McVeigh a Muslim?  I don't THINK so.  This type of behavior is engendered in people who aren't JUST suicidal as a result of their society collapsing, they want to take a few of the people and institutions in the society they BLAME for their fall into poverty with them.  In some cases that Blame is actually Justified.  I mean really, the Squid CAN be held responsible for the lost Pension money of MANY retired cops, and one could easily hazard the guess that not everyone of them will peacefully just off himself on the way to the Great Beyond.  Those who have experience working for the Bomb Squad are likely to use their knowledge on the way out the door.

Anyhow, these events are entirely predictable in a statistical sense, although you'll never know exactly where or when someone will go Postal, just that there will be more of them all the time.  Its a fallacy to blame this on religion,  it mistakes cause and effect.  The CAUSE of this is economic and social collapse, the effect is religious fanaticism, not the other way round.
