I'm still reading up on this to see if any of these could wind up being another domino chain. As a former airline captain I've seen a lot less than something like this become a giant fly in the ointment.

At least according to Wikipedia, an old friend reacquired the Ports from Dubai World:
"Dubai Ports World eventually sold P&O's American operations to American International Group's asset management division, Global Investment Group for an undisclosed sum"
Since we now own AIG, I think we still own the ports they bought from Dubai.
