As long as Mish is dreaming of GS tithing, the GS tithe should be for a worthwhile amount, not a chickenshit 10%.  Let GS clean all the shit off their books and then operate like the majority of US companies operate, without taxpayer guarantees. Taxpayer funding amounts to more government sanctioned theft anyway. The system is so rigged it is pathetic.  As far as I'M concerned, there is utterly no difference in the shit GS does and the shit that Jeffry Skilling is doing 27 years prison time for. Or Madoff's shit. Or Stanford's shit. They are all thieving criminals, using a broken, corrupt system to advance their personal interests.

It would seem to me that BYPASSING these clowns is at least a start.  Let people rebuild their wealth LOCALLY, by interacting on a LOCAL LEVEL with the people who live in our own communities.  I know where to find 15-25 billion dollars A MONTH that could instantly start trickling to local economies all over the country, yet nobody will advocate reallocating that 15-25 billion a month even as they whine about the banks and investment firmst that take that same 15-25 billion dollars a month, and use it to leverage huge derivative deals that put our country in debt to other nations.

The most distressing part of Mish's report is his question, "Where the hell is the outrage?"

The only answers that makes sense to me is that the MSM agrees with the way the White Shoe boys and the government are running the country or that the MSM doesn't  want to risk irritating those in power. Whatever the reason, it's a sad commentary on the country when the national print and television tolerates and ignores such great crimes.

WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE!!!!!

Most americans are too interested in what happened on survivor last night. They would not last 10 days without electricity and they think this TV show is what it takes to survive. They are and remain blissfully ignorant and pathetic. How could they be outraged?

Mish is a hero and a patriot.  Thanks Mish, for undertaking this crusade to bring some much needed sunshine to the dark areas of Wall Street and Washington.  Keep at it!

I agree that one of the best things you can do to combat the current, rigged system is to avoid it as much as possible.  I think all precious metals fans are doing just that; despite the "management" of PM market prices and obvious stock market manipulation.  It is much harder for Goldman Sachs et. al to deliver when you are just buying and holding PMs.

I'll keep trying to diversify my assets as much as possible and stay away from fiat to the max extent as well.  I'm optimistic that enough of the masses have been awakened to what is going on, that positive, real change can occur.  Blogs like this one are the proof and continue to show that the internet is one of the most powerful and best disinfectants mankind has ever created.

Where is the outrage? I'll tell you: nowhere that counts.

Almost everyone takes their beliefs from their leaders. That means politicians and the media who give people information about their country and the world. Only a few, the blogsphere group, think for themselves. If the country's leaders don't push for political and economic changes, it will take a lot to arouse the public. Then, if the people riot or revolt, "governments will take whatever measures necessary to retain control when in danger of losing it." (Gerald Celente in Autumn 2009's Trends Journal.) Relocation camps built around the country, military training with the police, more police with more firepower, more spying on Americans and on it goes....I think it will be very easy to keep Americans corralled. I may be too cynical but I see a Stalinist state in our future and not a return to a pre-Lincoln republic, secession of states, or a roll back of the tyranny we now live under.

A lot of you posters are so naive I laugh or chuckle as I read your every comment....Goldman Sachs criminals. Jim Quinn, too, sounds like a broken record. Mr. Quinn and the rest of you need to crack the American history texts and read more about the way this great land was built. Steamship lines, railroads, war supplies, tariffs, land grants, banks, trusts, and media licenses are all aspects of American enterprise that fit right in with bailouts and Goldman Sachs. Entrepreneurs a step ahead of everyone else, and using government connections for their purposes, built this country and raised everyone's living standards. Goldman Sachs is no different. Reviled today, they'll be tomorrow's heroes.

Don't y'all read anything but TBP?  Every bit of this so-called brave, revealing article is Already Published, Read, and Digested.  Where is the outrage?  That's the best this shiner-of-light has got?  The Rolling Stone piece had more news in it.

How come Max Keiser and I are the only two who are saying Warren Buffet is a crook?
