Perhaps there's something in that list for all of us to learn.

I don't agree that aid given to israel has paid of in spades.  We should immediately stop All foreign aid.  Dr Paul has stated(correctly) that israel is a wealthy country and they can take care of themselves.  The "success" of israel is entirely due to theft of US taxpayer money.  If israel wants to attack iran, do it.  Just don't expect us to supply lives or money to help them.  The two most corrupt governments in the west are the USA and isreal.

Excellent video. There's a reason that Jewish people have been the most successful in the world and sit in the highest positions of finance, power, and influence in the Western World. It's not that they are the Chosen People either. It's because Jewish people are smarter, more ambitious, and stick together. Israel is an example on the world stage of the Jewish miracle. Daniel, I think current Middle Eastern policy, including aid for Israel is indefensible from a libertarian perspective.  It is just like any of the entitlement programs.  The government cannot give to one group without taking (at the expense of liberty) from somebody else.

There is plenty of achievement in Israel and I admire their culture.  You are right, the US is relinquishing some of the same values.  But please don't imply that the US support of Israel represents libertarian ideals.  You can only make that claim when public funds are no longer involved.

The SUccess of the Jewish people is "Hardwork" Hardwork" and many times again Hardwork. Hardwork develops the muscle of the brains. Hardwork is the name of the Jewish game and their secret weapon.  The goal is to be independent and proud of ones achievements and be able to earn a decent living by doing creative things and by helping others (Mitzvot).  Most people are born lazy and stay so without motivation. Lockheed Martin is crapping themselves. Perhaps the libertarians are right? If we stopped aid, Israel wouldn't get the loans to purchase these expensive planes ($140mX25=$2.8B) the USA doesn't want anymore. Lockheed Martin won't shut down, but US taxpayers are stuck with the bill. Cutting aid means loss to US taxpayers.

While admitedly my association with those within the miltiary developement fields is somewhat limited the very fact of such a limited grouping have all said that in their workplaces there is an overabundance of Israel dual citizenship and not just as lab assistants but as Lead Scientist on their projects.

One such project is in the Missle Defense Lazer Systems that an aquaintence worked within and over a span of 22 years.

When he first worked for them Raytheon there were few of israel citizens working there, this was during the very early years it was German and US citizens trained within their host countries but after he left to work for a chemcial deelopement firm for 5 or 6 years he once again went back and to his amazement it was almost totally those of Israeli citizenship who were not jsut working on the project but wer the actual leadership with only a very few US and they were mostly of military brass advisors to the Raytheon owners with the grunts doing the heavy work.

This goes also for the developement of our Stealth Aircraft technology, our microwave and sound weaponry and even in our pulse beam technology fields.

Israeli Contractors are active within all developement fields, not US based Isaeli firms but actual Israel firms who are subsidized by the Isrtaeli government.

How this for trust by Israel of US technology.

Before Israel accepts any aircraft from USD they remove any US brains within the planes control systems, any recognition signals that have been built into all US military aircraft wether for export or domestic.

They install Israeli built computer systems that are not just as good as ours but superior and have been developed within Israels puter labs; seperate from US eyes.

they did the very same thing to our Patriot missle systems given them during Gulf War I and which today guard the Iranian nuke sites.

Wanna bet against that within those misle systems brains ther is not a relay to blind them tht can be tripped by both US and Israel satelites?

One woule be surprised to find out how much Israeli capital is invested within both South and Latin America.

If one cares to take a close look at Isrtaels standing within worlds richest nations one would find that they invest more money within China than does US or the Euro firms.

Israel now surpasses 24 of its neighboring nations in capital ratings, with only one coming close, Saudi Arabia in captial assets but not in overseas ownership of productive means..

Oh I forgot they also have a "Special form of VISA" that allows them to keep a tourist designation and able to work within US; a granting no other nationality can get.

This allows a double layer of secrecy to be maintained in case they need some special expertise that can only come from a scientist working within Israel proper.

remember thsoe Israelis caught laughing and dancing on 9/1/1 and those caught in Wasshington state with a van containng explosive materials within it, well they were all here on Tourist Visas;( a gift from the Israeli government upon all who have finished their full time military enlistment periods; but for some strange reason they all worked for a dummy corp out of Florida.

Even after finsihing their full time they still are required for up 6 weeks yearly; makes a good excuse for one of their tech people who just want to go home for a bit, but in truth they get deferments if they work upon some special needs project.

Arabs make more babies than Israelis. So Israel strategy is ill-fated. by keeping the pressure on Palestinians instead of seeking for peace and coming back to the 1967 borders (wich could let the Hezbollah alone, and open many decades of peace), they fuel the military development of their neighbors. when all of them will have the bomb, and this is just a question of time, Israel's advantage will be erased and the threat far more greater than during Kippour's war.
