For at least a year enough facts needed to bring indictments against those who orchestrated the Russiagate attempted overthrow of President Trump have been in the public record.
Where are the indictments? What is the point of a never-ending Barr/Durham investigation of what we already know?
Are Barr and Durham, who are members of the Establishment, letting the clock run out, banking on the election polls being correct that the Biden/Kamala ticket is the sure winner and once the election is over the Establishment is safe?
If Trump wins, he will have to immediately fire both Barr and Durham or suffer another term of being cancelled by his own government.
Some Republicans, and there are many such, will say that it is too close to an election for indictments of the opposition party. It would seem too political. The actual fact is that the investigation was extended for this reason—at this late date the presstitutes would discredit indictments as political, at least for those Americans who let TV and the New York Times tell them what to think. If Kamala wins, justice will be the loser. Trump will go down in history as a Russian Agent.
What no one realizes—including Trump—is that Trump took on the corrupt American Establishment without a team and a movement to back him up. Trump did not even appoint non-establishment members of his government and advisers. Trump surrounded himself with the Establishment that he declared war upon.
Go back and look at his 2016 campaign. Listen to his inaugural speech. Trump declared a revolution against the Establishment, and then put the Establishment in charge of his government.
Why did Trump make such a strategic mistake? Perhaps because he is accustomed to being the boss and thought that being President of the US was the biggest boss of all and whoever he appointed would align with the boss.
What a joke Washington played on Trump. The Establishment serves The Establishment. The Establishment is the boss.
If Trump wins, will he have learned his lesson and search for people who see, as he does, that America is failing and that only strong leadership based on committed belief in the US Constitution can save the United States from dissolution?
Neither Republicans, Democrats, nor independents understand that if Trump loses the election or it is stolen from him by mail-in vote fraud and a highly partisan media, every future presidential candidate will understand that success in office depends on representing the Establishment. Any candidate who attempts to represent the people will get the treatment that Trump got.

If the comments below are correct, then we are well and truly lost. Trump may not be as anti-swamp as we thought, but there is no one else who even gives it lip service. There is then no credible option other than conflict to try to correct the situation.
IMO, even if the conservatives gain some ground here, the leftist outcome is only slightly delayed. Democracies tend to evolve to the left, and beside that we’re at the end of the American Empire. I heard Rush speculate the other day that the reason the FBI stowed Hunter’s laptop was for purposes of blackmail after he got elected president.
They have a long history of blackmail. Another popular opinion is that it would be used to get him to resign so Harris would become POTUS. She has a proven history of using government law enforcement against her enemies.

Conservatives who still support Trump after 4 years of constant betrayal need to ask themselves a really simple question: why has Trump only appointed the worst swamp creatures to most if not all cabinet positions? Do you think the deep state is so powerful that he doesn’t even get to pick his appointments? Do you think Trump doesn’t know guys like Bolton and Barr are deep state creeps when he appoints them? What is it, in your mind, that makes you believe someone like Wray or Haspel is a scoundrel but somehow Trump isn’t when Trump himself appoints them?
He would have done better to have hired an entire cabinet of 20 something Trump supporters and have them learn on the job than to have done what he did.

Who is saying it’s entirely Trump’s fault? Not me. The kind of systemic fuckery we’re getting is entirely a team effort. If they wanted him gone, they could have impeached him or given him the Kennedy or Scalia treatment. If Trump wanted them gone, he could have tapped a serious prosecutor, head of FBI, CIA, etc. This Trump vs Deep State theater is even more fake than professional wrestling, and that’s an accomplishment.
