Ignore the battlefield prep from the mainstream media – Donald Trump is the odds-on favorite for reelection against whichever weirdo, loser or mutation the Democrats finally pick as their nominee. The leaked polls purportedly showing Trump deep underwater to Floppy Joe and Bernie Stalin and that has-been furry from Texas are about as reliable as the ones the placed Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit in the White House. She’s now stumbling around the woods guzzling from a queen-sized goblet of Trader Joe’s Chardonnay while The Donald is racking up the greatest streak of conservative victories since Ronald Reagan – maybe even Cal Coolidge.
Trust the Trump.
Trust his instincts, which are uncanny. He gets the media in a way the media cannot get itself. He knows how to use it, he knows how to exploit it, and he knows how to beat it. Ask yourself – “Who is setting the agenda?” Is it the whiny Democrats? Is Pelosi driving the discussion? Are the pinkos out in Iowa?
Nope. It’s Trump.
We’re talking about what he wants to talk about. Even when he dropped the “Sure, I’d listen to oppo from some foreigner” bomb, it got us talking about Hillary’s dossier and Schiff’s begging for nudie pics from the hosts of Ivan n’ Vladimir’s Morning Zooski. Amid the latest gasps of “Traitor!” and fake outrage, Normal people saw that just one guy was telling us what we all know is the truth – anyone would take the dirt!
Only Trump was honest enough to admit it.
And look what he has not done – toss the Democrats into the briar patch by getting into another war. Iran attacked those tankers and everyone rational knows it (though some have decided not to believe our hallowed intelligence agencies, which I was informed was totally treason five minutes ago, but I guess I missed the memo announcing the 180-degree change in narrative). And they also know the American people are not eager to get into another endless Middle Eastern conflict that we have zero intention of actually winning. They want a quagmire they can pin on The Donald. The Dems are rubbing their soft little hands together hoping Trump pulls the trigger and they can immediately jump up and oppose his warmongering war for oil and stuff.
Nah. Trump’s not playing that. And you can almost feel their disappointment that Trump did not walk into their ambush.
Now, on a policy level, the Iranians deserve to be blown away and their garbage scow navy sent to the bottom of the Gulf. They are our enemies and Trump knows it. If there is fighting, it will be quick and harsh – just how we Jacksonians like it. But the Dems are not getting another perpetual war to use to drive down his popularity. Don’t look for Trump to chase his tail endlessly in some hellhole he created – he’s too busy trying to get the establishment out of the ones it created.
Trump’s path to reelection is blazingly obvious – avoid mistakes (like some new war) while focusing on the new normal of economic prosperity. Ask the Reagan Question: “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?”
For Normals, the answer is yes, yes, yes.
Yet Trump remains the change agent in the campaign. It’s the Democrats who are the party of the status quo, the sorry state of the union pre-2016.
Decline.
Despair.
Declarations of how much we Normal people suck.
That’s their platform. It’s not very appealing in places where people have jobs that involve sweating and headgear. And while the Dems may run up 60%-70% margins among baristas and public employee union parasites in the blue states, who cares?

I wasn’t a Trump supporter until he beat my guy Cruz. He earned my support by keeping his promises and running up the score. But my assessment of his chances is objective, not subjective. The competition is going to get crushed. That’s a fact.
Take their doddering frontrunner. Floppy Sleepy Gropey Joe has proven himself good at only one thing – accumulating unflattering adjectives. He’s been in Washington, DC, for 50 years and now he’s noticed that it’s a bubbling cesspool of incompetence, arrogance and failure? And he’s the one who’s going to fix it? Gee, what’s his hurry?
If it was some soft, effete Fredocon Republican running for the honor of losing like a gentleman, you know our nominee would never be so impolite as to mention how Pete E. Neuman or Pocahantas or whoever is promising to bring back an era of misery. But Trump will. He’s no sissy like Mitt. Can you imagine if Candy Crowley had piped up at Trump? He’d have crushed her with binders full of tweets.
Trump will trumpet his successes shamelessly, which is exactly what we need. We need a promoter, a loud and proud conservative who’s not worried that the swells at the country club might find him “Oh well I never!”
He’s not ashamed to win. In fact, he cannot conceive of doing anything else.
Has anyone ever said that about Jeb!?
Winning will happen because we are going to nominate a fighter, a guy who knows how to win, a guy who they said couldn’t beat Hillary.
He did.
Then they said he was going to be marched out of the White House by the Grand Wizard of the Supreme Court for treason and emoluments and stuff.
Mueller cleared him.
They keep counting him out.
But he keeps winning.
And the smart money is on him doing it again in 2020.
Of course, if Trump loses – if they manage to cheat their way to victory – we’re that much closer to the nightmare I write about in my action-packed yet super-snarky novels about the United States’ split into red and blue countries, People’s Republic, Indian Country and Wildfire. I know Kurt is one of those guys who goes absolutely monkey poo when anyone doubts THE PLAN, but really, we ain’t seen dick on anything that matters. Trump’s been better than the load of losers we’ve been burdened with for quite some time (stretching back to the overrated ‘Amnesty’ Reagan), but that’s a very, very low bar. Even for a boomer civnat, his pimping of the ‘good’ legal immigration is simply disgusting, and as for concrete results on illegal immigrants, he’s got mere words from Mexico, just like we’ve got mere words from him
Complete agreement with OO (excellent choice of shotgun shell for use in a home defense scenario). But I do have a week spot for still having some hope in Trump pulling off his promises and Kurt feeds that hope nicely. Iran? We are not in a full fledged war yet that Any lesser president would have already caved to the neocons wet dreams, but we are getting closer. Time will tell.
The elections are a lot closer than MAGA folks are allowing, but that was a pretty impressive turnout for the Florida rally, so there may still be a hope that a majority of America may still overtake the illegal/immigration vote the dems are placing their hopes in.
At this point, I may need psychiatric help, as I’m developing a split personality, depending on who I’m allowing to influence my opinion of our President; both sides have their points, but in the end, I’m getting tired of being strung along with tweets and promises.
But who knows, I may be cured of my sickness with one black swan event, at which point the crisis will outweigh political considerations. I’m visiting family in Pittsburgh, where they just arrested another ISIS jihad junkie who threatened to blow up another church.
Maybe prepping is good therapy to chase away the Trump angel and the Trump demon that are on my shoulder, whispering their opinions. One way or another, getting prepared is the most sane way of facing the future we are going to be running into just around the bend.
When it comes to cheating their way to victory it should be one of our main concerns. There were millions of non-citizens who voted in the last election and that has to be prevented. Short of having to prove citizenship before being allowed to vote I see no way to prevent such fraud.

hell, I had my vote stolen in 2012 when I went to vote for Mittens.
Went to the polling place and found somebody had signed my name on the registry. (I got a ballot anyway) But was there any kind of study or hard evidence that voting fraud was committed by illegals?
Stockman’s article about Iran made a lot of sense. Iran is no threat to us and not even a threat to the oil supply (a novel and convincing explanation from Stockman). It’s possible they attacked those tankers, but I’d give that about a 35% chance of being true. So Schlichter is, at best, about 1/4 red-pilled.
Trump could win again, but it’s far from certain. Maybe 50/50. Once the Dems select one of their maniacs, we’ll know better. I still think they’ll end up with Kamala Harris whose speaking style is annoying as fuck. “We have to have a conversation about …(reparations, Medicare for All, etc.)”. Bitch, you got the microphone. Tell people what you think, for fuck’s sake. At least Bernie doesn’t hate white people, while Harris oozes disdain, her “white” husband notwithstanding.
The best excuse for Trump and his failure to get the Wall underway is that he allowed himself to get bamboozled by Ryan, McConnell and Kushner. So much for the great negotiator. He’ll have to try to convince his base that he’ll really get it done in 2021 once the republicans take the House again. No one else could so convince them. He’ll have to use the Jake Blues technique.

Do vote and campaign and speak out at local city councils, school boards, community forums. Use the tools available wherever available.

We are not victims we are not without resources and we are on the side of Freedom in the eternal struggle between those who would take that freedom and control us to their benefit.

None of the domestic stuff we were promised (Wall, mass deportations, ending birthright citizenship for children of non-citizens, etc.), which actually matter, have been done.
Draining the swamp, cracking down on voter fraud, fixing the budget deficit, limiting H1B visas (instead of expanding them,) ending carried interest loophole, reversing the limitation on (Christian) churches wrt political issues, etc etc. but hey at least a man can now fuck another man in the ass in Botswana.

Donald Trump has expanded America’s bombing wars against Somalia and Syria. He has expanded America’s drone attacks against Pakistan and Yemen. He has expanded America’s ground war in Afghanistan. U.S. wars in Iraq and Libya have never stopped. U.S. wars have killed over 500,000 people (mostly innocent civilians) in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan alone.
Now Trump is sending 1,000 troops to Russia’s border in Poland. He is sending an additional 1,000 troops (the real number could be 5 or 10 times that) to the Middle East. What most of us are not hearing reported is that Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan (CFR) told top national security aides that the Pentagon has plans to send 120,000 U.S. troops to the Middle East. Coincidentally, this is the exact same number of U.S. forces that were used in the invasion of Iraq.
